Beautiful Cheveron B15C historic F3 car sadly up for sale purely due to time constraints and not being able to use the car as intended.
A very unique example of the Chevron model and has proved very competative in the right hands with a 4th place finnish at the Goodwood Members Meeting most recently.
The car is all in very good working order, and comes with everything required to run the car, including battery charger & oil heater etc - just needs a new pilot ! A new safety harness was also fitted in 2023.
Included in the sale are a brand new set of wheels that were machined from scratch last year that have never had tyres mounted. Also a selecion spares including a body, gear ratio's and lifting jack.
There is litterally a mountain of paperwork and history file that will be given with the car, it has been extreemly well cared for.

Historic Formula 3/ Formula Junior for sale.
This totally unique Ginetta G8 qualifies for many prestigious events including Goodwood and 2024 - 60th HF3 anniversary events.
Unique as it was the only one ever built by Ginetta, featuring a fibreglass monocoque, internal front suspension all on a car designed in 1963.
Fitted with a fully sorted and refreshed period Ted Martin 1000cc Ford, refreshed MK8 Hewland box and rebuilt suspension.
Totally rebuilt and brought back to the track after 56 years in 2021 (winning the HF3 award for quality of rebuild) and successfully raced on UK and European tracks. As the car was not raced for many years it is possibly one of the most original cars on the track. With full FIA papers and wheels/tyres for both series it’s ready to race in several exciting upcoming 2024 series.
Incudes many spares with all body and monocoque moulds.
This car is a lovely looking machine in it’s original colours, as well as great provenance and is offered at £45,000.

1968 Titan Mk3 - TEAM CAR - Driven by Charles Lucas (founder of Titan) himself.
The car has an amazing period history with entries at all the iconic European circuits, including Monaco, Silverstone, Montjuic, Oulton, Roskilde Ring, Pau, Brands, Villa Real, Magny Cours, Montlhéry, Knutstorp Ring.
The car has an undisputed provenance confirmed by the Titan Register.
Beautifully restored from the bare chassis with new bodywork, brand new Geoff Richardson engine, rebuilt gearbox, etc. for 2018 Goodwood Members Meeting.
Only 8 laps completed in Members Meeting due to the snow on the circuit, so engine, etc. essentially brand new still!!!!
Car properly prepared for storage after the MM and immediately it went on display in heated lobby of Titan Engineering, who have lovingly looked after it and meticulously turned the engine over regularly. Hence, despite being stored for a few years it is "on the button".
Once a sale is agreed, the car will be properly brought out of hibernation and race prepared by Absolute Race Engineering prior to being handed over. A spare set of wheels comes with the car and its HTP is valid till the end of 2025.

1969 Brabham BT28 Formula 3 For Sale
Arguably the very best example of the ultimate 1,000cc Formula 3 chassis, the Brabham BT28.
The current Goodwood Formula 3 lap record holder, having set a remarkable time of 1:22.9 on the way to victory in the Derek Bell Cup at the 77MM in 2019.
Raced in British Formula 3 through 1969 and 1970 by Keith Jupp, with victory in the Lombank Trophy national round at Brands Hatch.
Sold to the USA in 1971 where it raced in SCCA events for the next two seasons before remaining untouched in time-warp condition until bought by the current owner in 2011.
Subject of a superb and extensive restoration by Jeremy Bennett of Nemesis Racing. Immaculate and highly original today.

Set of 4 Gotti 073L for Lola (and other makes) centre lock wheels. Used on a Lola some years ago the wheels have been stored - for around ten years, but upstairs in a dry garage loft.
The centres were taken out of the front wheels to assess their use in a different project. The project was never completed and the wheels need a new owner.
Now quite rare, these Gottis are original, not remade versions.

[SOLD!] Brabham BT18 1000cc Formula 3.
Great condition.
Swedish Championship winner 1967 with Reine Wisell (1970-72 Lotus F1 driver)
Swedish ace Picko Troberg bought this BT18 for the 1966 season and he finished second the Swedish Formula 3 Championship. He also made a try in Monte Carlo during the season, where he finished 9th in the prestigious race.
Before the 1967 season he sold the car to upcoming youngster Reine Wisell, who won the championship in 67 with Troberg again in second place! Wisell of course later was destined for greater things, as he became a Lotus Formula 1 driver in 1970.
The car competed a couple more seasons in Sweden before it was retired.
It was renovated by swedish enthusiasts and experts ten years ago to the fantastic condition it has today. Has been standing on a car museum for the last 6-7 years.

-1967 season: factory car approved July 1967 driven at the end of the season by Clay Regazzoni and Ronnie PETERSON
- Season 1698: purchased by Jean-Pierre JAUSSAUD on behalf of the TEAM MEUBLES ARNOLD.
- Season 1969 - 1970: Team ARNOLD furniture team managed by JP JARIER (1969) and Etienne VIGOUREUX (1970)
At the end of the 1970 season, the car remained with the ARNOLD family, on display in furniture stores and then stored in the garage of the family property. The car was acquired in 2011 by the current owner and has undergone a total restoration from the chassis. A handwritten letter drawn up in 2011 by the late Mrs. ARNOLD, on the occasion of the change of owner, explains in detail the history of this car.
The historical Technical passport (HTP) is currently valid and is signed by Jean-Pierre JAUSSAUD and the son of the ARNOLD family (Jean-Claude ARNOLD). The bodywork is also signed by Jean-Pierre JAUSSAUD.
From 2012 to 2018, the car took part in numerous races of the historic F3 1000cc European Trophy as well as in the Member's MEETING in GOODWOOD including a P2 qualification in 2016 and a second place in the race in 2018.
More than 12,000 € of work has recently been carried out: engine O hours (just dyno tested), clutch, shock absorbers, miscellaneous work. The car is perfect, ready to race for the 2022 season or to satisfy the joys of demonstration driving.

FOR SALE - MERLYN MK 14 1968 F3 - THE ORIGINAL FIRST MK14 CAR
In 1967 and 1968 Tony Lanfranchi entered many of the available F3 races, both in Britain and Europe, quite often driving a car owned by Ken Bass, one of a number of people interested in racing and disposed to financially support up and coming racers, such as Tony.
Early in 1968 the car was a Merlyn MK10, a quite successful design from Colchester Racing Developments (CRD). Unfortunately the MK10, being driven by Ken Bass, suffered major damage. The car was straightened but Tony was unhappy with the result and a new chassis obtained via Mark Konig. This turned out to be the first MK14 chassis produced by CRD and all the MK10 running gear was transferred to the MK14 chassis. The car raced at Monaco in 1968. A number of years ago Keith confirmed this with Ken and I also spoke to Ken some years ago, also confirming this.
Only one chassis was produced in this configuration, all subsequent production chassis in 1968 - 1969 being designated MK14A. A one-off prototype for 1969 - 1970 was designated MK14AX. (unfortunately many race results incorrectly note cars to be MK14 rather than 14A).
Since repatriation from France by Keith Norman much work has been carried out. This has included considerable work on the chassis, a zero hours engine by Stuart Rolt, New MK8 gearbox by Cavan Riley, two sets of new Revolution wheels, new top bodywork, screen, Simpson exhaust and much more. The chassis is original and has not been returned to as new condition to maintain as much history as possible. A number of spares are included and others by negotiation. The car has universal joint driveshafts which CRD told me a long time ago were used on their cars at times, also included in the sal are Hewland side plates and spider shafts for conversion if required. About 20 genuine Hewland unused or barely marked ratios are included.The car is located near King's Lynn, Norfolk, easily reached via the A10. We have plenty of trailer access space.

Sold new into Denmark for Jens Christian-Legarth who raced it through 1965. Another 2 owners there, Vejlund and Seerup, then to the USA where the 3rd USA owner, Al Essig has a horrific crash with it in 1972 at Lake Garnett. Al keeps the remains intending to rebuild but 34 years later he sells them to Australia. These consist of the rear chassis section with AM number, the chassis plate, the wrecked steering wheel, the pedals and steering column. CAMS Australia have granted approval in principle for the car to be rebuilt from these remains and granted a C of D number. 2019 Goodwood Podium Winning Car
This car was originally a Team Lucas car that did the 1970 UK shell oils Champion ship at the hands Of Peter deal and MO Nunn.
The car was then exported to the USA by Fred Orbt and was only raced for 3 years before being stored in a barn near New York until 2011 when i purchased the car and had it professionally restored to the highest standard.
The car has been completely rebuilt over the last 5 years to be one of the best / Reliable and fastest Historic F3 Cars in the UK.

Silverstone 2018 Finished 4th after running as high as second.
Goodwood 2019 Finished 3rd from the back of the grid at the first corner at the drivers first time at Goodwood. Beating the 2018 European F3 champion along the way Whatch the last 5 minuets of this video from his car.

In the effort to achieve mint condition this Tecno was carefully renovated with newly made and/or restored original parts during 2012-2018.
Ford Cosworth MAE 998 ccm engine, driven about 5 hours after re-construction. All new parts from Cosworth, Arrow Precision, and Yarwood Enginering UK.
Hewland Mk 8 gearbox built by ADA Enginering UK, brand new at engine renovation. A number of drive kits are included.
Two complete bodyworks in excellent condition: one renovated 1968 original and one 1969 type built in 2019. All instruments are from Farringdon Instruments UK.
Three sets of wheels (12 pcs) with Avon Historic F3 A37 tires, including new rain tires. Two sets of split rims from Braid, as well as one set of brand new fully cast original aluminum rims from Roin Technology Italy.
Applicable HTP valid until the year 2026 for international competition.
The car is race ready today.

Resplendent in its 1950 Indianapolis 500 livery, the #27 Sampson CC-50 represents the golden age of Indy front-engine competition at a time when the legendary Offenhauser engine dominated North American motorsport.
This magnificent piece of racing history was built for Sampson€s return to the track after a decade away from racing coinciding with WWII. Built on a chassis supplied by pit mechanic Johnny Rae, the Sampson was fitted with an experimental supercharged 177ci (2.9-litre) Offenhauser inline four-cylinder engine built by Meyer and Drake. Famed race car designer Lujie Lesovsky crafted the all-aluminium body over the bespoke chassis with the car finished off with 18x6.5-inch Halibrand magnesium wheels.
The Sampson CC-50 offered from The King€s Garage collection is in period livery as it would have raced at the 1950 Indianapolis 500. Master Indy car builder A.J Watson carried out a major cosmetic and drivetrain restoration during which the car was fitted with a period correct 220ci (3.6-litre) Offenhauser engine for Chuck Haines of Can-Am Cars in St Louis, Missouri. First delivered to Jean Blanc (Swiss) in 1966. He returned the car that season to upgrade the suspension to the later 41C specification. Jean campaigned the car throughout 1967 and 68 including entries at Monaco, Monza, Pau, Hockenheim, Jarma, Many Cours and others. Period results include 3rd place in Germany (Eifelrennan), 14th in Spain (Jarma) 14th at Many Cours (one place ahead of Francois Cevert) and 17th at Monza. The car was invited and raced at the 2010 Monaco Historic.
Full and extensive restoration by Simon Hadfield in 2014 including engine by Stuart Rolt and gearbox by Tony Wilson. Original wheels together with a specially commissioned set of correct 6 stud rims. Full photo record and receipts available. The car has only raced once since the rebuild at the 2015 Members meeting. The car is sold with a 2016 Goodwood Members meeting invitation that will be transferred with the ownership.

Tecno has dominated the Formula 3 races in the category in Italy
and in France in the years 1968-69-70.
It has won four Italian championships from 1968 to 1971, 2 Championships in France and 2 times the G.P. F3 of Monaco in 1968 with Jean Pierre and Jassaud in 1969 with Ronnie Peterson.
This is perhaps one of the most 'beautiful on the market, restored
so manic by a famous Italian specialist.
It is the car ex Maurizio Montagnani, a fast Italian rider
He raced with this car in 1969-70 with the Ford engine 1000 cc. MAE
getting good results and always finishing in the top.
In 1971 the 'car was purchased from Scuderia Mirabella Mille Miglia in Brescia.
The FIA in the year 1971 has changed the regulation, increasing cylinder capacity engine 1000 cc. to 1600 cc.
The car has been fitted with a new engine Ford Novamotor 1600 cc, and
It continued to race with other drivers including Renzo Zorzi in 1972.

Chassis 00204 was built in mid/late 1966 and was initially driven by the works driver, Carlo Facetti. The car first appeared at Mugello in July, finishing fourth and at Monza with Pino Babbini, Giancarlo Baghetti and Facetti - who clinched third in September 1966. Three cars, including 00204 were then taken to Argentina in 1967 for the Temporada series. The works drivers included Facetti and Alfredo Simoni, to be joined later in the series by Clay Regazzoni and then by Boley Pittard. As far as we know, the car last ran in 1967 and was mothballed, coming to the UK in 2003 and largely left unrestored - including the chopped off nose from Argentina!

Raced by him in two International seasons in Europe and the UK, including qualifying and finishing the Final at Monaco both in 69 and 70. It was then put in dry storage at the end of 1970 when the 1litre Formula ended. Some 40 years on the car was resurrected for the inaugural 1litre F3 race at the Monaco Historique in 2010 by the same owner/driver It went through a total ground up restoration by Chevron Racing, which also included a new Richardson/Stuart Rolt M.A.E with a N.O.S. Holbay R70 cylinder head plus Nova Motor slide throttle. The M6 Hewland was fully overhauled and fitted with new MK8/9 gearbox internals. The chassis was updated to current regulations by Nigel Bancroft. The engine has just been rebuilt with 0 miles prior to sale.The car comes with current F.I.A H.T.P. papers plus a comprehensive spares package including, unused wets, spare body work, nose mould, silencer and megaphone. The history for this car is well documented back to 1972. When it was purchased from Glenn Hyatt of Low Cost Racing in the UK, I have a copy of the for sale ad, when purchased by Dave Wachtel. I have a copy of the letter between Wachtel and Hyatt discussing the details.
Wachtel raced this car for many years, but lost the chassis tag while the Brabham was travelling on an open trailer back from Lime Rock. Chassis number is being researched, but is unknown at this time.
Car currently with TwinCam installed. To be sold as F3 configuration, with no engine, 8:31 ring and pinion, open diff., 4 speed and 8" and 10" wheels. Perfect for Historic F3.

1966 Brabham BT-15, chassis # F3-33-66.
Full history from new. This was the last BT-15 Chassis built in 1966 and was supplied to Mike Knight, to re-chassis the Ex Peter Gethin car by the factory in 1966.
It was entered by Robs Lamplough and driven to Championship points by Knight in late '66.
The fully restored as new chassis is now fitted with a fresh Full Race ARJAY Lotus 1600 Twincam with dyno sheet of 180hp.
A rebuilt and fresh Hewland Mk 8 open diff. 4spd is supplied.

Cars with total restoration carried out and a piece of automotive history as confirmed by Chevron Cars Limited by e-mail of 23/01/2013
(Which also confirms the official list published in 2009 the book "In the mind's eye" written by Kevin Hodgkinson, this car 'was driven in 1968 in a F3 race by Peter Gethin in the English league.
And then it was sold to another legend of motoring, Frank Wlliams, who at that time was at the beginning of his racing career and was racing car F3 with his small team.
Peter Gethin 'then moved to compete in F1, and in 1971 with a BRM won the GP Monza, winning two records never again 'beats in the history of F1: the speed 'average race more' high (242 km / h) and the gap on second placed more low (Ronnie Petterson) to 0.01 sec.!, third (Francois Cevert of Tyrrel) to 0.09 sec. Mike Hailwood quarter of Surtees in 0.18 sec. Fifth Ganley of BRM in 0.61 sec. It 'was the arrival of more' spectacular, with 5 cars in the sprint at the finish line of the races of F1.
This car was imported to Italy in 1991 from England and it belonged to date the same owner.
The restoration 'was made at the highest level, and is even more beautiful in reality than in pictures.
It is sold with 4 spare wheels and the Hewland gear box with the spare included in the price.

TECNO F 3 has dominated the racing category in
Italy and Europe in the years 1968/69/70.
He won four Italian championships from 1968 to 1971, 2 championships
French and 2 times the F3 Grand Prix of Monaco in 1968
Jean Pierre Jaussaud and in 1969 with Ronnie Peterson.
This specimen was a car chassis # T00224 official Tecno Team
then sold to GIUSEPPE BIANCHI of the Scuderia Italy in 1968, and used by GIOVANNI SALVATI in 1969. (6 races Italian league)
Giovanni SALVATI was the name of this young pilot who made the first race of the pool, the tour more 'fast in the race and clapper until three laps to go with the already said Ronnie Peterson sending into raptures the public of Monza.
In 1970,with another Tecno Salvati won the Italian Championship of F3.
In 1971, unfortunately, in an F2 race at Taruma in Brazil, came out 'track and died just when his talents were noticed by major F1 Team.
This specimen and 'was built on 22/11/1967(with construction specifications of 1968)
It is was fully restored in every detail in the 90 years and since then has traveled very few KM. (6 races from 20 minutes all Autodromo di Monza 2001-2004)

HISTORY
In 1971, the A360 have been fitted with a modified body for the Castellet (July 7th). They have been named: Dinosaur, due to the fact of the rear bonnet and a front spoiler to protect the tires and get fresh air to the brakes. It is in 1972 that the A364 has appeared.
Fitted with an injection the Dudots engine has permitted top drivers like: Depailler, Jabouille, Serpaggi, Leclere and Guitteny to win races.
In 1972, 6 cars have been exported (2 to UK and 4 to Germany). That means that 4 chassis have been used in France: 364-0, 364-1, 364-2, 364-9. A364-9 has been driven by Serpaggi in 1973 (suspension and wing modified)

Built in 1967. Is one of the A270-A280 (Transmission shafts behong the tube frame)
1967: Patrick Depailler becomes a team member of Alpine F3.
Coupes de Paris at Montlhery: Depailler and Bianchi driving the A330 F3 have difficulties versus the competition.
1968: Depailler is the only one driving the A330. During the season his chassis will be reduced (dixit Andr Desaubry). The wheelbase has been reduced (due to the size of Depailler) to give a better liveliness of the single-seater (a Depailler request)

[SOLD!] 1969 Tecno F3, chassis no. T00356
Purchased in 1969 directly from the Tecno factory by Maurizio Montagnani as per original Certificate of Origin no. 116, the car was raced in the Italian Formula 3 Championship during the 1969 and 1970 seasons with the 1.000cc engine.
In 1971, the Brescia based Scuderia Mirabella bought the car and updated it to new rules with a 1.600cc engine for the following three years, racing with drivers like Massimo Baliva, Alessandro Guidetti and Renzo Zorzi.
Today the car comes with a 1.600cc Ford Novamotor twin cam engine freschly rebuilt by Milan expert preparer Mario Villa.
The car has been totally restored and has very little mileage.
The car comes with full HTP papers, Tecno Certificate of Origin and Racing files.

Overall winner of Class D/Formula 3 four times and many class awards driven by David Pullen. Significant rebuild spring 2009 with Stuart Rolt Holbay R70 MAE engine and Cavan Riley (RTS) MK8 Hewland 4 speed gearbox. Since rebuild only used for Brands Hatch Superprix Formula 3 parade lap in July 2009 and the 2010 F3 group test at Brands Hatch, driven by Alexander Sims and featured in Autosport February 2011.

MARCH 733 chassis no. 004, well known history, ex Richard Robarts, 1973 1st in British Lombard Championship. Restored by Peter Denty in the 90’s. Running in HRA German Open since middle of 90’s. Very good technical and optical condition, race ready for 2011. Engine and gearbox got checked and revised last winter. Necessary parts were replaced and valves were newly fitted with English specialist firm. In 2010 the car was only used for two track days.
